Battle of the obstacle courses

Obstacle course running has emerged as a hugely popular activity in the UAE over the past year or so with ever increasing numbers looking to push their bodies to the max to get to the grueling finish line.

In addition to the successful Desert Warrior Challenge, Wadi Bih Run, Spartan Race and Wadi Adventure Race there is now a new player joining the mix in the form of The Sand Pit Run.

The Sand Pit Run will be held at Al Barari, Dubai, on April 17th and will consist of a 10km run (same as the Desert Warrior Challenge but double that of the recent Spartan Race) including 15 various obstacles along the way. The Sand Pit Run prides itself on teamwork and emphasizes a more collaborative effort to overcome the challenge more than racing and individual speed, implying this will be a great event for groups of friends.

I don't know about you but the Wild Arabia team love taking on the challenge of these events and pushing limits to the extreme and therefore welcome The Sand Pit Run and anymore obstacle course based events that feel like popping up in the UAE!
